This past Sunday the Panhellenic Greek Life community failed our fellow Cornell students, faculty, staff, as well as Ithaca locals by not fully undertaking Covid-19 safety precautions. As such, the members of Alpha Phi would like to apologize for the role we played.
Our recruitment chairs Claire & Hannah loved seeing you all again for round 3!! We can’t wait until pref tomorrow 🤍🤍

Alpha Phi was the house I looked forward to going to everyday, and I couldn’t imagine myself anywhere else. Our energy is unmatched! I’m so proud to be a part of this sisterhood.” -Isabel Girod, NMC ‘20
A Letter to Cornell’s Potential New Members:
Once upon a time we were all in your shoes. We remember the simultaneous excitement and nervousness that fill you as you begin this journey. We understand the desire to feel a part of something at a new school that sometimes feels so overwhelming. And we are ready to welcome you into our (virtual) home with open arms.
We know that this year has been anything but ordinary and the uncertainty of what lies ahead can be scary, but we hope that throughout this process we can help you find a sisterhood that unconditionally supports you. Regardless of where you end up, we can assure you that you will be surrounded by a group of strong, passionate, and intelligent women who will always have your best interest at heart.
No matter what you are feeling right now, know that we are in it together. We are so excited to embark on this first ever virtual recruitment process with you, and help you find a place you’ll call home.
Love Aways & AOE,
The Sisters of the Delta Chapter of Alpha Phi
lots of love for our amazing Director of Formal Recruitment, Hannah Mahanti!
p.s. you’ll get to meet her in FOUR DAYS ❤️
#whyaphi “I chose Alpha Phi because I felt an authentic connection to all of the girls I talked to during formal recruitment. All of the girls were so interesting and different in addition to being so involved in so many different things on campus. Alpha Phi had (and still has) such a vibrant and genuine energy that I could tell each girl truly loved being a part of the sorority... and it all turned out to be more than true. Alpha Phi has given me memories and people that I will cherish for the rest of my life.” -Hannah Mahanti, MC ‘18
