Dear Parents,
We recognize that, as parents, you are dedicated to ensuring that your daughter has the best possible collegiate experience. Cornell Alpha Phi shares this goal and will provide a special home for your daughter while in college and for a lifetime. You can be confident your daughter will find opportunities in Alpha Phi that will propel her to be successful throughout the course of her lifetime.
Alpha Phi grants academic support, community service opportunities, commitment, leadership, sisterhood and support. We hope you will return often to read updates about the accomplishments Alpha Phi and our sisters are making at Cornell University. In addition, we like to keep you all informed on our chapter activities through newsletters that are distributed throughout the year.
We know that without the support of our parents, much of what we accomplish would not be possible. If you have any questions regarding Parent Relations feel free to contact our Director of Parent Relations, Natalie Zaba.
Parents' Weekend
Alpha Phis simply cannot wait for our parents to visit us at Cornell this spring! Each year, the Delta Chapter is proud to host our beloved parents for a weekend of fun. Parents' Weekend events each year include an open house at 411 Thurston Avenue, our Red Dress Gala philanthropy event in support of the Alpha Phi Foundation, and a Brunch hosted at the house. The brunch is focused on informing parents about the many wonderful aspects of our sisterhood, including philanthropy, and our Academic Bigs and Littles program, which allows older sisters to provide guidance to younger sisters in similar majors, to name a few . This weekend is intended to bring you closer to Alpha Phi and your daughter, provide an opportunity for you to meet the sisters and parents of Alpha Phi, and learn about the chapter your daughter devotes so much of her life to.
