A WORD FROM OUR CHAPTER PRESIDENT

Since its founding in 1889, the Delta Chapter of Alpha Phi at Cornell University has sought to promote and uphold our core values: scholarship, service, loyalty, leadership, and character development. For nearly 150 years, we have fostered a community committed to these values and dedicated to supporting our sisters in lifelong achievement.

Alpha Phi helps young women forge lifelong friendships and our bond of sisterhood extends well beyond Cornell’s campus. As a member of our organization, you are able and encouraged to forge friendships across the 173 (and counting) chapters in the United States and Canada. Your membership begins during your time in college, where you will be able to learn and develop our values, and it continues even after your collegiate experience; you are an Alpha Phi for life.

I am honored to be a part of this organization and serve as a symbol of the Delta Chapter as Chapter President. Alpha Phi has provided me the opportunity to learn and grow as an individual. The sisterhood has empowered and inspired me to become a leader. I sincerely believe that my sisters have helped me become the person I am today, and I am eager to continue learning from and with my sisters.

We are fortunate to be a part of an organization with such an amazing network of women. You will always be able to find a sister to study with, volunteer with, or simply spend time with. Our sorority also provides scholarship opportunities, networking, and leadership development. The resources and opportunities are endless, and we implore each and every one of our sisters to take full advantage of what our organization offers.

Alpha Phi is a place to find your lifelong best friends, to inspire innovation, to serve your community, to lead, to learn and to grow.
